Reanimate Energy

the Kuumba Collective opened up again with a Fantastic Show. Featured artist Daphne Burgess gave me a personal tour of her show, Thank you Daphne. Thanks to Marshal for tolerating our Tardiness and Chaos once again. I would bet a Million Dollars, YOU can NOT find Better People to Work With than the Working Artists of the Del Paso Works Gallery

there was silence, and then there was a sound-- organic drum circle with ceramic sculptor miguel paz, yeah that really happened.

who is this guy? the biggest piece i have ever hung. it is a collab with my friend, artist Kaeleb Rocha who had to leave early due to a wedding. He also assists me in curating and setting up/tearing down shows. His presence was missed.

Shayla Messersmith brought her unique illustrative stylings and adaptive realism to the show. We almost had to call out an Ambulance because Her Work was "Blowing People Away."

[steven celiceo] my good friend, brought some "Epic Style to the Table". I had to purchase that skateboard deck myself.

Our show was a success. We hope to repeat it in November with a MUCH larger cast. Come be a part of our action. November's bill? it might look something like this. Cory Walker, Shayla Messersmith, Steven Celiceo, Kami Dent, Kaeleb Rocha, Geoffrey Ernst, Liam Byrd Smith, Brandon Hurley and perhaps two new artists. Look for details on November in the next two weeks.

thanks to our patrons, guests, friends, and family. your support and presence has made this event possible for the past 3 months. you are our life-blood and our future. you are an important part of fulfilling the artistic process, and we look forward to seeing you next month.
